  • i also changed the engine of my 94 gt for a 99 mountaineer and im having trouble with the headers i would like to know if i can put those same headers that you have, and if you have had problems with the spark plugs while putting the new headers or now like the spark plug cables burning.

  • @dvg02 Fox headers work, i used ford racing gt40p headers on my 94, the only thing you need to do it eleminate the egr tube, i just pinched mine and welded it shut. i have no problems changing plugs or burning wires, but im using heat protective sleeves on the wire boots, they are worth the money.

  • -8*Celsius, and yes, where in a deep freeze right now, its bin in the -30's for the last couple weeks, and thats without windchill, my stang doesnt see winter duty anyways

  • Very nice i like it 5 stars. Strange but i have the same mustang a 94 Gt and red. I also have that same bbk cold air and the same Edelbrock Performer manifold. And 3:73 for gears.I also have pulleys, crane 1.7 rockers, longtubes, offroad h-pipe and Flowmaster cat-back. Im running stock heads though.

I have been thinking about a E303 and after hearing yours i think that would be the best cam to go with. Is there anything i need to know about the E303?

  • apparantly some guys with the 94-95 cars have troubles getting it to idle without cranking it up to a 1000RPM or more, i dont seem to have that problem, i did turn the idle up, but its only at about 750, its somewhat hit or miss. Other than that its pretty straight forward, i installed it "straight up"

  • hey man i got a question. i just bought a 95gt and it has the gt40p heads from a explorer as well as the upper and lower intake manifold. my question is i want to get a cam for it since it has the stock one in it now im thinking a E303 or B303. did you take your car somewhere and get it tuned? and if so how much does that cost and what kinda power are you putting down now?

  • oh yeah i see the headers

  • so did you do some work to the gt40p heads or was the cam put in as is

  • @dvg02 buy wires with 90deg boots thats what i did for my bbk long tubes no problems

  • thats sound good bro but. it sucks that it's cold like that out there i stay in san diego so it nice in the mornings

  • hey your jason right. i was just browsing threw the GT40p searches and ur name poped up. i was the guy that was going to buy the intake off off you for my 92. but i ended up buying GT40p heads and explorer intake off a 97, and put them on my rebuilt 5.0. but i need someone to do the changes for me lol. nice car by the way. how much hp your car got.

  • hey dude i just do the same to my 89 lx, but when i hooked up to check ignition timing light it was 180 degrees of, how can you fix this

  • So I just did this, and after 2 weeks of trouble shooting why it was running rough, we found out I have a bad Head gasket, it was dumping compression into the crank case, rings look okay, should be back together in a few days, motor with 89K must have been a factory difect?.
