Laminitis is the affect, the cause must be eliminated so, the affect can be fixed. Blind faith only helps a little... education helps a lot! More information at

Good video. Its sad seeing those x-rays apart from the rotation of the pedal bone. and all theses horsesw were long in the toe. The longer the toe is, the more rotation you will get, separation from the white line, so more chances of infection, etc.

my pony came down with chronic laminitis last summer, we shod him in inprint heartbars and sole padding then later metal heartbars and packing, heartbars by themselves and now normal shoes, he has now made a full recovery and you would never tell he'd had it !

By using cold salt hydrotherapy it has been proved to cure laminitis.

My horse was foundered pretty bad from the winter. And he had really bad feet. They still are bad, but they are getting better after every time they are trimmed. :D

My horse is nearly completely recovered 7 weeks post-laminitis. It was brought on by clover in a heavy growth stage (I didn't know it could do that). We shod him with frog support pads and I put him on Recovery EQ and he's completely sound and comfortable now and probably will not need the pads on his next farrier visit. The pads brought about IMMEDIATE comfort for my horse, to the point that he waved his other hoof at the farrier, wanting it fixed.

I agree. My horse came down with Laminitis 6 months ago. I heard abd feared the worst for him. This video also has given me hope. Im presently now taking him for daily 15 min walks. Fingers crossed to a full recovery
