Like if this was your song before twilight killed it for you, and it was brutally yanked from your grasps by little teenage girls trying to relive a moment that was never theirs. Like if once this was popular you felt like you were part of a facade instead of enjoying beautiful music. Like if you had a Jezebel, and like if you want your song back. WE STRIKE AT DAWN!!!

That horrible emptiness and pain is almost too much to bear. It fades with time but you always remember it. That person will always be a part of you and the loss is like a vacuum in your gut. Sure, you go on with your life, but when it happens it feels like it will never end. This video brought back to me nights when I was there just like the poor guy in that car. I feel for you, brother. Right now, just keep putting one foot in front of the other and ride it out. All the best, John

Incredibly creative! Anyone who doesn't appreciate this has never driven around aimlessly at night with a heart broken so completely they feel like will die from pain beyond all description. The intensity is overwhelming and as a man I can only say that this work of genius is something I relate to with all my being. It has been 45 years since my Jezebel broke my heart and disappeared forever. I can still feel the hurt and remember being that young man collapsing on the curb, head in hands.

odd video but really pretty song.

You're silly. Everyone deserves good music, despite questionable taste in movies.

I have an idea! Why don't we take a beautiful song about the loss of innocence and enthusiasm within american culture and put it in a prom scene in a movie about teenage emo vampires...
I don't mind lame people who like shit films enjoying Sam Beam, but it's just an insult to such a genius songwriter to strip his words of their meaning!
ps. Love this song too!
