I understand exactly what the Chinook community does to make the mission. I am a FE myself and am currently in Iraq. Next up is Afghanistan so I get to go though exactly what you did. Keep it up!!!
The 7600 hours is the total number of hours that 14 aiccraft flew during the 12 months we were there. The most that I flew was almost 100 in 1 month. When you are that situation you do what you have to accomplish the mission. We often worked in excess of 16 hours in a duty day.
Some good videos and photos showing it isn't all Bombs and Bullshit, also how most of the work gets done on any operation.
I personally rarely worked with the Chinook as it took so long to re-fit them in the US but when I worked in the field of operations like yours with other transport Helicopters and Aircraft it was nothing but fun.
You have some great videos...They lend a certain humanity to the work. Expect to be deployed again? I have a brother at Camp BlackHorse. Great job...Thanks.

When one does what we did in Afghanistan. you are willing to do what is required to accomplish the mission. By the way, have you served overseas ?

no you didn't know many chinook pilots and there is no way. I know a FE that flew 200 hours in a month and that is way to much.
