Giant Amazon Fish: Justin Hall (Runningman)

local catches notoriously agressive fish, During the dry season when waters receed, Ayamara get trapped in small pools cut off from the rivers flow they starve.Just before our arrival, a child crossing a stepping stone bridge was attacked by one. Literally leaping out of the water it ripped open the kids stomach! The village rallied round quickly organising a speed boat to the hospital 5km down river. We took our revenge and barequed the beasty... delicious..
