  • how do you use that background ? please answer

  • @metroid557 I will give you tutorials from people that know with words better than I know. DM Multimedia - 3D Tips & Tutorials - Production Shaders

  • Hello, how long did it take you to get this good, and specifically how long to model the car ? Just about to start learning 3ds max myself.

Very nice work, by the way.

  • @kmanmx as I told OOwonder: Evermotion's tutorials. They are among the best in the industry, and they cover everything in filed of your interest. For example when it comes to car modeling, they help you not just with car body, but they teach you how to do the rest of details on your model, so you can have full result that will look like this. Follow each step, practice and you'll be even better than I am.

  • What renderer did you use?? How long did it take?

  • @mafiaknin It was a long time ago now, so I don't have any exact nor approximate time to give you. It was done in Mental ray. It is my renderer of choice.

    Mazda RX7 Rules! :)

  • Pedophile song? WTF is this lmfao

  • @metroid557 Using Adobe After Effects you can simply place the 3d object exported file from 3D max/Autodesk Maya and then place it in a video or on a picture, like in this video. :) I am learning Autodesk too :)

  • hey, man great video...quick question, i am attempting this my self for an assignment of mine, and I was wondering how you did the stills, where the a photographs taken individually, or are the stills from you just moving the camera around in the sphere and rendering a shot. Also how did you do your ground plane?

    thanks

  • @metroid557 My guess would be that he applied a material to the ground the car is on so that only the shadow renders (matte shadow material or something like that. I can't remember what's the material is called).. Then he added the background. watch v=1TcdGBs5VoY

  • @metroid557 The answer is here watch?v=1TcdGBs5VoY
