Four pearls by master choreographer Jirí Kylián in one fascinating programme for youth and adults.

It was in 2006 that Introdans Ensemble for Youth first presented a complete programme with works by the choreographer Jirí Kylián. This show was singled out by the VSCD Youth Theatre and Concert Jury to receive the prestigious 'Zilveren Krekel' (Silver Cricket) for the most impressive production. KYLIÁN4KIDS played to full houses in the Netherlands and abroad. Jewels from the history of Dutch dance art are polished up and presented for your pleasure: the fascinating, rhythmic Stamping Ground, the wonderfully lyrical Evening Songs and the hilarious surrealistic Sechs Tänze. The enthusiastic and high-energy ensemble of dancers is also performing Indigo rose for the first time, in an incredible stage design. Sit back and enjoy superb dance for young (6+) and older!

Each of the works had something different to offer, be it humour, beautiful movement or shiny black hotpants. With its plethora of undulating bodies, Stamping Ground was the undisputed hit with children at the matinee, while the periwigged, powder-faced wit of Sechs Tänze was the highlight of the evening family show.
