  • Yeah this takes me back. I played this game a few weeks before seeing the movie. Then I was excited when I recognized stuff in the movie. I got stuck at the castle doors too. A few months later I remembered finding the camcorder and thought there must have been a reason for it, and when I figured it out the rest fell into place. However, I never knew you could get the helmet or that the Firey head would tell you which way to go. I usually threw it at the goblins.

  • Oh wow... the memories!

Like most people here, I only ever made it to the castle door and had no idea I needed the arm to pull the switch and get in.

In hindsight, there are some relatively complex puzzles in this game, so making it to the castle door at 12 years of age I think is a good achievement.

Was great to finally see the ending about 20 years later!

I remember Sarah's epic line from the film to finish off Jareth ... "You have no power over me!"

    Great video, thanks dude.

  • I could only make it to the castle myself. Couldn't get further! Great job! Jennifer Connelly would be pleased.

Would you love to see Angry Video Game Nerd review this game and the Japanese import game?

  • Man, does this game look hard! It looks pretty good for one of LucasArts' first adventure games. LOL at the kid's face at the end <: ]

  • Nice vid! I had this game back in the day, and couldn't get past the castle. This was one of my favorites on the C64.

    Thanks for uploading!!

  • This game rocked! I played it before I saw the movie and then recognised many things in it.
