Call me anachronistic, but I'd rather let accomplishment, skill and integrity carry my candidacy rather than necro-nepotism, the cult of personality and a frivolous voter base who knows little of of sound political candidates and even less as to what constitutes quality irony. It's been disheartening as a Canadian to see the rise of this Trudeau. Not because he doesn't have potential to do good, but because a portion of the country is looking past the obvious potential for catastrophe.
