Sup guys! It's been a long while, yes, but I'm still around and I still am making customs whenever I can/feel like it :)

This is what many of you will remember as a part of "Sam's Solo" from the song "Through The Fire & Flames" by Dragonforce. Originally charted by Neversoft it was a noob solo that everyone could do without any problems, but little did many know that it was undercharted to hell.

This is me FCing it on SLOWEST... because I can't even do SLOWER :c

I am uploading this as I guess you could say, a little sneak peak to my recently released TTFAF custom! :)

I can't upload a full run of it at the moment, but if anyone is interested in playing it and trying out this beast of a custom, the download links are right here:

Enjoy!

  • Looks good. I think the base note in the tapping part changes between two pitches, but other than that it looks right on. Also, I have something to ask you: Do you have the separate tracks, and if you do, when you pan to a single channel (left or right) do you hear only one guitar, or both?

  • @ThreevanGH Just checked again, and to be quite honest with you sir I don't detect any pitch change in the base note of the tapping except MAYBE at the very end, although it just sounds like it might be a recording/editing error instead of intentional. Glad you pointed that out to me though, because while I was at it, I found something to change in my "What The" section... so thanks! :) As for the panned audio tracks, why yes... I do have them on individual channels I guess haha. Want em?

Dunno why I'm responding to this 6 months later, but I can hear the base note change as well. Pretty strange because I never noticed it till now, good ear.

  • @LukeNikolau And as for the note change, I think that may be the harmony between the guitars playing with my ears. It sounds different every time I listen to it, lol.

  • @LukeNikolau That'd be great, thanks! Just send the link(s) to me in a PM whenever you're ready. I'm going to use them to touch up my TtFaF chart before I re-upload it, and maybe even transcribe the song for fun when I have time.

If you're curious why I'm asking, I could've sworn that the audio I had on my old computer had only one guitar on each channel, so I could pick out each note on each guitar with extreme ease. With the audio I've recently come across, this is no longer the case.

  • haha yeah that sounds really accurate.
