Metroid 25th Anniversary Fan-Animation

On August 6th 1986, Metroid was released on the NES in Japan, and since then has become one of Nintendo's most popular franchises.

2011 marks it's 25th Anniversary, and as such I felt like doing something to celebrate - especially since Nintendo themselves haven't (so far), despite doing a lot to celebrate the same anniversary for Mario and The Legend of Zelda series.

This animation took me just over a month to do I think. It depicts Samus facing against against her arch-rival Dark Samus, in a scenario similiar to Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, my favourite game in the series.
