I have a toughbook and I use it for DJ'ing in nightclubs. The swivel touchscreen allows for versitile setup in different venues. I don't have to worry about flying with it, its small enough to carry on & it's able to handle frequent travel and general abuse. The strong vibration from rediculously loud bass in clubs has rattled other laptops to bits. They aren't for everyone, but they're amazing for people who need something like it. Plus, it's fucking cool :)

Our Panasonic Toughbook Rep took her issued toughbook CF-19 and "threw" it out in the parking lot. She then told us to take our big tender and run over it as much as we wanted. Parking lot was made of asphalt, tender was carrying 4500 gallons of water. Ran over it, stopped on top of it, then popped the clutch and shot it out the back of the duals! Picked it up and it worked perfectly, some scratches and a small dent were the only scars to show anything happened. We bought several hundred units.
