Mario Kart Wii - May 13 08 A

Someone requested for me to use the Booster Seat, and I decided to go with that and use that kart for an online session. Wouldn't you know it, I was put into one of those "rough neighborhood" rooms where everybody was not only competent, but seems to be using bikes. I'm not too used to this kart, since I don't use it too often, but you can see in both matches that its very light weight and low top speed lend myself to getting bumped around a lot.

Match #1
Luigi Circuit
I got pretty lucky here. The pack this time around was a pretty aggressive one, who will ram into you with Mushrooms and whatnot. A lot of bumping around happened here.

Match #2
Rainbow Road
In addition, I'll also show you that from time to time, you'll see the mirrored version of the course, and there's probably no course that'll trip people up more than Rainbow Road. Despite everybody being competent drivers (the lowest ranker had 6782 when this began), everybody fell off on the first lap at least once. The Booster Seat's low top speed creeped up on me in the form of that Japanese player (I think it says Megane-Love), who overtook me later on and I found myself unable to catch up, though I almost did.

If I were you, I would've saved the Mushroom for the big jumps on Rainbow Road.

Good boost into first at the end at Luigi Circuit! I don't think I would have used a mushroom so wisely.

It's pretty simple when to use a Mushroom, at least with a Kart. Karts can't boost on straightaways, so why not?

There should really be someone using Wario or Waluigi in the Phantom cause there weren't anyone using them on the Phantom so far.

actually, what i meant was compared to the DS version of RR, the Wii one looks a lot like SMG

Rainbow Road wasn't made for SMG but they did add somethings to make it look like it was made for SMG. The Idea for Rainbow Road is not from SMG which you can tell because it was in the SNES Version and Nintendo 64. It is a nice track with the added music and the Star Bits you will see around the track, it is a great track for a great game.
