Venu degraded himself as third rated reporter on this interview. Watch his interview with Kodiyeri... Venu was very soft on him. A right reporter should not be one sided. I never expected such approach from him.

@74zachariah More Jobs from Govt. perspective its ok, but more export or revenue. What about people betterment? Job security? SEZ - invented by corporates for corporates by the Govt. Yeah LDF accepted SEZ conditions on Smart City, but I cant see any benefits from SEZ. Oh CM worried about 5acres!!? What about the 100acre free land in the UDF deal? What about UDF proposed KMML sale for 11 crore(Now 90crore/year profit because of LDF)

@74zachariah Yeah long 6 or more than 6 years whatever far better than UDF deal.

Let me compare both deals.

UDF - Tecom need Infopark under control,24 crore land cost,9% share hold for Govt.,100acre free of cost land for Tecom,Restrict other IT parks or projects in Kerala,permission for land sale,etc.

LDF - There is no demand over other IT parks in Kerala,104crore land cost,26%shre hold,No free land,No restriction for other IT projects,75% land only for IT.

Now What about the defeereces Great?

Those who were claiming that LDF contract was better than the one signed by Mr. Chandy 6 years ago (6 long years to sign a contract for an IT park !! It happens only in Kerala), should accept this also.

CM did the right thing by walking out.. Venu doesn't deserve an answer. CM shouldn't and needn't reply to queries from every third rated reported.

IT growth from a Govt. perspective would be more jobs, more exports, more revenue. I believe Smart City is a big step towards it.

IT parks are mushrooming in tier-1/tier-II cities, no where there are controversies like whether DIC a public or private entity, is it multipurpose SEZ, what is % of jobs to land etc .

BTW, CM reiterated that the extra 5 acres was given as per the contract signed by LDF Govt. (contd in the next post)
