Mercy Corps' Cassandra Nelson spent two weeks in Haiti directly following the quake as a member of our earthquake-response team, helping to meet the urgent needs of survivors. On Thursday, February 4, she met with supporters at the Mercy Corps Action Center for an update on our Haiti response.She discusses our work including helping survivors secure clean water and proper sanitation, creating jobs for residents clearing rubble and debris, and training caregivers to alleviate post-quake trauma in children.
