Nardis on Akai EWI USB and "The Trumpet" (vst) by Samplemodeling

My first demo of The Trumpet (Virtual Instrument) created by Giorgio Tommasini and Peter Siedlaczek. I just receive both these new products a few days ago and wanted to get a demo posted right away. I fully endorse the Akai EWI USB, EWI 4000s and The Trumpet.

terrific modeling on this one! I may be exaggerating just a tad, but that is quite possibly the best synthesized recreation of a wind instrument I have ever heard. the legato phrases sound great. how do you control the flutter?

how can I make this instrument to sound and play with a fast fingering and stacato? I got me one, and when I play , I cant play with a fast fingering and stacato like I play with my sax. maybe is the computer is not that fast for this program? I play sax for about 35 years. Ineed and advise, thanks and nice playing, supperve

how do you access vibrato? How close is this to a real trumpet from a woodwind players point of view? The usb device is really great! Im glad they created such a think for you guys!

@shamharoth I jam with "proper bands" on EWI all the time. In fact that's all I play with my bands the Bernie Kenerson Group and Science Factory. I love showing up at jam sessions and shredding everybody with my EWI!
