Ha not that dangerous (provided you don't climb over the fences) but defiantly a drain operating to it's full potential. Thankfully most of the impressive storm drain system that we have in SoCal was designed by the Army corps of engineers.

Has the channel ever overflowed and flooded any of the residential properties?
They should install another channel of the same size to cope with the amount of water.

The storm channel is working fine and it will not overflow ? The only Danger is to people to go in the gated area?
