    Mraz is a fine singer, but his voice isn't a good match for this song. He's too breathy, hits too many "soulful" phrases, and injects too much sex appeal into a song that's supposed to be wistful. You may accept this as Mraz "making the song own", but it has the same effect that the Glee cast had on "Lean On Me": it homogenizes and sterilizes a song whose magic was in part due to its brilliantly simple melody, and in part due to being sung by a humble frog.
