Nope Max, you don't know the german mind.

In order to create a European Union, first Germany had to be destroyed as an economical opponent of the UK. That happened during 1914 - 1945.

Then the Nazis (the REAL Nazis) set up the first quasi EU in 1957 and bound the western part to it as its economical motor. In 1990 the FRG got extended with middel Germany (GDR) -- there was no "unification" -- and consequently this EU headed for the Euro currency. Germany is still a quasi occupated colony!

@Spyderschwinky: Prof.Dr. Walter Hallstein was the first commissioner of the then "just economic" european agreement. Hallstein was an NSDAP law-professor who in 1939 held a lecture about the "Rechtseinheit Großdeutschlands" ... centemplating a unified currency, unified economy and patent law for Europe under NSDAP dominion. THIS outright Nazi signed the Rome-treaty in 1957 !

Germany is still an occupied colony because the western allied forces still have military bases on our soil.
