But after listening to you, you planted a few good seeds. No pun intended in my mind about getting a second one because I don't feel I have a full head of hair right now. I feel like I've reversed it where I'm now thinning again and not bald anymore. I'm very happy with the results. I think other great people compliment me all the time. But I do want it to be fuller and thicker and if that is something that's ever going to happen because I have fairly thin hair. I think the actual shaft is fairly thin. Will it ever thicken up or is it just I'm going to constantly going to be chasing it?

No. We're not going to be constantly chasing it. What's going to happen is we'll reach a tipping point and that's individual for each individual patient.

Okay.

When I say tipping point, we'll get to a number as a result of the transplantation which will...It's been described to me by some patients as it almost appears exponential with moderate increase. We know it can't be, it has to be linear because we use a...

Because it's still going to take...

...finite number of grafts.

...just the same amount of time to grow in as the first procedure. Right?

Exactly.

Maybe it just feels like there's more because exponential, there's already existing here and there from the first procedure.

Exactly and because there's existing hair, it will take you a little longer to appreciate the change because we're improving a situation as opposed to starting from scratch which is what you basically had when we started. You had essentially no hair in the area, at the back of the head, the crown.

So the results were much more noticeable or obvious.

Noticeable more quickly and the percentage change is different.

So A, I'm curious of approximately how many more grafts you think I would need? And B, I'm very concerned with my donor area. I don't have any issues with it now. It's not tight. It doesn't give me any discomfort. Are you going to cut another donor area right above it? Or is it an existing line? Am I going to feel any tighness?

What I'll do is work off the existing line that's there. You may feel some initial tightening. Yes but that subsides...

Just like the first procedure.

Just like the first procedure. Exactly.

But my long term feelings, I'm not going to have any discomfort because I have two donor areas there.

Typically no because you will have only the one line when we finish. There won't be two separate lines.

Oh okay.

The second line will be right off either above or below, right next to the existing line.

Okay.

And for that reason, there is no sensation over the appearance of two lines. We don't want to create a step ladder effect which...

As I'm aging, my existing hair which is primarily here in the front potentially could experience some loss. So will we be threading a second procedure up through here or still remaining in the back on the crown? What do you suggest from me?

From listening to you, I think your focus should remain on the crown. That seems to be your biggest concern.

Okay.

Truth be told, you don't have all that much native hair in the front anymore.

All right.

Okay, looking at your pictures from the last time as we did the other time that you were in recently. There wasn't really all that much hair. I know each one is precious.

Truth be told, there weren't that many.

So what are you recommending for me then?

Well let me take a look. We'll begin at the hairline and I think since we did about 500 hair grafts along the hairline.

Correct. I had it in the temples. Yeah.

Yeah. As well a few across the front to create a line in the sand if you will so that we don't want to, do we see any farther than that? But I would say another pass at the hairline with another 500 or so would be a good number.

And then in the crown, I would say anywhere from 1,500 to 2,000 back here.

Okay.

You got reasonable flexibility. I believe we talked the other day about how to make that even more limber for me.

Yeah my exercises...

Yes.

My scalp stretching exercises.

I would encourage you to do that. But on balance, you got a lot of good donor hair back here that is usable and we will avail ourselves of that.
