red eared slider turtle feeding

red eared slider turtles are awsome pet animals. they keep a good relationship with the owner when they used to get close. i heard they live more than 60 years so those who keep them will be very responsible to take care of them. they are very slow moving animals and very hard to escape or hide from predators. handfeeding the turtle is a pleasure for me i enjoy it very much. this small video is dedicated to all of my friends and those who love and own all kinds of pet animals and verymuch those who love animals. thank you very much for watching friends !

how often do you have to feed them? a guy at the store told me that you put three pellets in the cage every five days (for one turtle) is that enough or do you have to feed them more often than that?

i feed them twice. and i make sure that they get some exercise as i release them to my garden and let them walk some time.

I do not want to serve them as feeder fish so please tell me if RES turtles will eat them.

no u cant. turtles attack them and often kill and eat them u know they have tremendous hunger even they eat gravels
