..change title to old piece of paper

  • @bart666a .... do that and you can further change the TITLE of US government to - arbitrary power, rule of the elites, oligarchy, tyranny...what small vestiges of liberty still exist will finally be snuffed out. change the title of the Ameican Experiment to a liberty squandered, a liberty no more.

  • Glad it was a help. I hope that it might help many others as well.

  • Thanks - I am glad it was helpful and glad you are passing it along. Hopefully you found the Part 2 of this video and the 9 Keys to Understanding the Declaration of Independence video as well.

  • Why did you change "a more perfect union" to "connect the states"?

  • Let me clarify my remarks... First, both the Federalist and Anti-federalist had much, much, much stronger view of the soveriegnty of the States than we do today. Ultimately being a governor of a state was a more significant responsiblity than to serve in federal office. Nonetheless, in areas of national defense and in the area some kind of uniform trade agreements with other countries, there was a need for better "connection of the states". The Articles of Confederation were viewed as to wk.

  • @MikeNitro94 - Good question. The Founders and most of the country were steeped in Adams Smith book - Wealth of Nations - this would give you the 1787 way to interpret general welfare. In brief, what this sentence would mean is that the government should protect - people and property in order that people can earn a living in the vocation and calling of their choice. This would also allow individuals and organizations to relieve suffering and help the poor, but not the civil government.

  • The Spirits of The Revolution are ushering Ron Paul into his rightful

position as Guardian of the Constitution of the United States of America.

All across this Great Country of ours, we are joining the Spirits in placing Ron into the White House and into the

sacred Presidency. Nothing will stop us from protecting our Constitution. We will gather in masses to make Ron the Official Representative of Our Constitution. And Finally, we will make him President.

  • @h2opower The Title of Nobility Clause prohibits Congress from granting any title of nobility. In addition, it specifies that no civil officer may accept, without the consent of Congress, any gift, payment, office or title from a foreign ruler or state. However, a U.S. citizen may receive foreign office before or after their period of public service.

  • @h2opower (Part One) That is Article One, Section 8.

"No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State."

  • @NatedogJr This keeps our politicians honest as it would also stop corporations as they are foreign powers. With this there would have been no Fed Bank or a great depression and government would have remained small and working for us and not the other way around.

  • @NatedogJr If any citizen of the United States shall accept, claim, receive, or retain any title of nobility or honor, or shall without the consent of Congress, accept and retain any present, pension, office, or emolument of any kind whatever, from any emperor, king, prince, or foreign power, such person shall cease to be a citizen of the United States, and shall be incapable of holding any office of trust or profit under them, or either of them

This was taken out during the civil war illegally

  • @h2opower The Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution officially outlaws slavery and involuntary servitude, except as punishment for a crime. Section 1: "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."

Section 2: "Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation"

  • Can you please tell everyone the importance of the original 13th Amendment to our constitution, thanks.

  • 11 people dont support ron paul

  • @travissand agreed
