Environmental issues might be the one thing the liberals are right about but it would be one of the few times they ever got anything right. Mostly I think liberals are destroying western civilization and the World for that matter so any other issue they might be right on is inconsequential. The only political movement that is right all of the time are Nationalists but with their numbers being small it looks like we may have to say goodbye to Planet Earth.

Al Gore himself has nothing to do with AGW science, other than popularizing it in media. He's an easy target for simpletons, of course. The more someone rants about "Al Gore! Al Gore!" the less they tend to care about the actual physics of CO2 and the greenhouse effect. It's much easier to just pan a celebrity.
Analogy: If "Bill Nye The Science Guy" had never been born, science would still exist exactly as it does. Al Gore is no different. Deal with the evidence, not the messenger.
