  • I'd love to see how this works large scale. The problem with solar tends to be that the batteries, control system, and transformers can cost a LOT of money and be costly to maintain when trying to power a whole house. Only a few years ago it cost something like $400k to install a full house solar system, though some states like New Jersey subsidized it, lowering the cost to $200k, but that's still a lot.

  • You guys don't read very well...There is a battery in there as well. The solar panel charges the battery...the battery powers the lights. You could run a light in every room with this. Sound better to you now?

  • If the sun is shining and you have windows in your house, it's redundant to light an LED lamp. I'm sure that at night this won't work... (no sun) .. when the lamp is actually needed.

  • Call me crazy, I don't think 1 lamp will light up the house.
