We are fortunate to live in an area in northern Wisconsin surrounded by state forest and have these rare & beautiful animals frequent our land. They are protected in our county, so no hunting of albino deer is allowed. It is so interesting to see the albino deer interact with the brown deer and with each other. The scene where the brown fawn is so fascinated with the big albino buck is priceless. They still give us a thrill every time we see them - it's almost like seeing a unicorn.

dang these are cool but ya they stand out like a sore thumb lol sad cuz lots of people will shoot them regardless if they're legal or not.

The native americans known them as "spirit deer" they said if you ever hunted one you will never get another deer in your life.
