Inspired by a stirling engine i got for my birthday I figured I could make a steam engine. Using just metal from my local hobby shop (brass sheet, rod, tubes) I made one. Took two failed tries and a couple weeks but it was totally worth it to see it run. Espeically since i used no real machinery. just handheld power tools :D

  • Jordan, can you private message me if you are still active on youtube? I have a question

  • @techwizzy yup i'm still around. thanks for the compliment!

  • Where can we get the plans, please?

  • @technology49 my plans were drawings on scrap paper and napkins that I came up with by watching youtube videos. there are some popular science or other magazine articles from decades ago floating about on the internet that have detailed plans. google is your friend.

  • Pure awesomeness :3 If it has enough RPM you can put on a bigger water tank and use it as a hard drive :D

  • Excellent construction - well done. Never seen a model fired like that either.
