Babylon 5: Byron - "Hit me"

In hindsight, Byron was one of the more underrated characters...anyway.

I love this scene. It's such a perfect example of how violence is so unneccessary sometimes.

When I was a kid I missed the point of this, but now as an adult I see clearly what Byron is talking about.

I believe Byron was attempting to prove a point by allowing that bad ass character to hit him. Taking your anger out on the wrong person or thing will never solve the real issues behind the anger. Well done scene! Did anyone miss the theme in this?

@peskylisa That's how bullies and bigots operate. Guys like that asshole who went to town on Byron's head are usually insecure and find a way to project that insecurity on an easy target. In this case, it was rogue telepaths. So yeah, I also saw what was Byron's point to allow this wanna-be tough guy to hit him. Though Sadly, the stubborn idiot did not learn that lesson and it cost him his life.
