I arrived at 473 spillway road in west Hurley where agents of the "Ulster Regional Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team", acting under color of fraudulent and over broad New York State and US Federal marijuana prohibition laws were violating the the first amendments rights of Joe Barton and his son Jay.
I have known Joe Barton for over 20 years as an artist, jeweler, marijuana activist and concert producer.
I have been interviewing Joe and assisting him in writing his life story and the struggle he has had
because of the 70 year fraudulent, infirm and over broad marijuana prohibition laws used to deprive him of his religious use of Cannabis, hemp, marijuana for medicine and recreation.
This is a civil rights contest between The constitution of the United States of America, the supreme law of the land against infirm legislation that for 70 years created over a trillion dollars in damages to New York State taxpayers.
Did these law, repugnant to the constitution keep any child or adult from marijuana? the answer is no. Then why were these laws made?
The studied deception that is implicit in all marijuana prohibition laws is for the purpose of preventing American farmers from growing Cannabis, the most valuable economic plant, in world history.
