This is a video of a Saab Sonett III that I recently got that has been sitting for 20 years. Last registered in 1988. I replaced the coil, the main coil wire, and wired an electric fuel pump and it started right up.

  • I love the hard start of a Saab engine!

  • @beme17764 do u still have the back windshield

  • @papi69pa yes I sold pretty much everything, all I have left is the fiberglass body shell and a few door parts for the driver door.

  • @beme17764 men u sold all parts allready ? cuz i need the back windshield glass n fuel pump

  • @papi69pa search therealinvisibleman on ebay, the last of the parts that I have are listed and will be ending today. I don't have a whole lot left.

  • @beme17764 so do u still have parts let me know ? if do do can u send me some pic thank u

  • @papi69pa You can try Egge machine or autohausaz. I bought some special order pistons there and had to modify them after I got them, but they're worth a try. Look them up online, it won't let me post links.

  • @papi69pa The one I had worked fine, I don't remember where I got it. I didn't use it very long unfortunately, I had the Sonett sitting where it is in the video and had the hood off overnight and we got just enough rain to run into one of the cylinders through the carb and seized the engine. I wound up parting this Sonett out this last year on ebay.

  • @beme17764 does it works like the original ?. cuz i bought one electric universal fuel pump for carburator but it dint work its to much gas for the carburator , i bought it at aoutozone
