Back home on the reservation in the public school system we get called 'stupid indians' by teachers and kids and it just reinforces what everyone has been telling us for years. There are so many kids on the rez who just want life to be over, including one of my best friends. But most of us push through. Thank you Vince for your insightful video which really hit home w/me. I hope that it reaches all of our troubled youth & gives them a glimmer of hope. Although Im not brown, I was bullied unmercifully thru-out my elementary-jr high years. I too suffered abuse from a very young age & in my marriage, consequently resulting in a rather serious eating disorder. Now, I am successful artist, graphics person, personal chef and a human rights activist for Native American issues. There is a ANSWER!

Ironically, when you originally posted this, I was having suicidal thoughts, but I clicked out of the posted link because I didn't want to think of it... in fact, I tried to deny I was even having those thoughts and I always pushed it out of my head. I never turned to anybody and I let my life and emotions spiral out of control. Thank you for sharing everything, Vince... this was so strong.
