@bbwaves91 Lewis didn't need a rematch. He hated training, like almost any boxer does. He beat Tyson, he beat Holyfield and he avenged all his losses. He basically went out doing everything there was. He was getting older and after you beat Tyson, you'll lose your hunger for more. Same with Joe Frazier after beating Muhammad Ali. If you beat Vitali at your worst, while he was at his best, how much better could you do in a rematch? Exactly. Plus Lennox had more than enough money.

He did that on purpose and it was a smart move cause it kept him from getting knocked out in the second. Fighters come in a few pounds heavier in fights to help them sustain big punches. btw Lewis turned down 40 million dollars for that rematch just so u know! lewis is real bitch bro sorry!
