  • Ah! at 15:52 you mix the Pentax, it's not K1000 but the ME Super which was my 1st camera, eheh, really nice. Thx again for another great video.

  • @morfes Oops. Well, it looked like the K1000 anyway, and I couldn't find a real K1000 there.

  • @poagao eheh, anyway, since u go there often, for a week, how much Yen (+/-) you think is needed to be there for 1 week? Not plane included ofc, soz if I'm being a pain. Thx.

  • @morfes Not often, just once in early 08 and once in late 09. But cheap hotels like the ones I stayed at are about 5-6,000 yen a night, and meals averages around 600 yen.

  • "The stepped backed building" you were talking about around 6:39 have to do with the Article 13 of the Japanese constitution, which basically state rights of life, liberty and "happiness."

When people build new buildings, they may not block the sunlight to the existing buildings or farms and they have make sure preexisting buildings get certain amount of sunshine per day, or else, they may have to pay fine and/or additional heating cost, etc. to the owners of the preexisting buildings.

  • Ah, I thought it might be something like that. Thanks.

  • 10:12 what is that siren?? A fire department??

  • Hi paogao, great footage. I don't know if someone answered your query about why the balconies are so high facing the views of the river. The balconies are purely functional. The are that high simply so the Japanese can hang their futon mattresses over the balcony to air and dry.

  • @poagao Thanks, :) and thanks again for your nice videos.
