In July 2008 the International trombone Ensemble, a group formed by ex students of my school, the Rotterdam Conservatory, made a tour to Japan. Most of these players, play now in major orchestras in Europe.
In this clip you will hear:
Frank Kramer, Quirijn van den Bijlaard, Martin Schippers, Jaume Gavilan Agullo, Eloy Panizo Padron, Bart Claessens, Tomer Maschkowski.
The ensembles website is at:
http://www.international-trombone-ensemble.com/

This tour was organized in Memory of the late "Hiro Suzuki" a former student of mine in Rotterdam who passed away in June 2007.

Both Jorgen van reijen and myself were guest solists during this event.

  • @arotondomccord

Who cares it's BEN VAN DIJK

  • I understand the soloist is really excellent and far better than me at bass bone, but did anyone else find the beginning of his notes to be really sharp?

  • one person eat chet....

  • XD my eyes literally got bigger @ 7:28!!!!

amazing... got this on my ipod along with my amberlin and 3 days grace !!! XD

  • Great! but looks like Ben left his F tuning slide a bit far out this gig :P

  • the most left plays now also by the marinierskapel der Koninklijke marine :D he is a great talent !!!!

  • I like the rock star ending that Ben added to the end with the quick horn off the face!

  • Major respect, bass trombone requires soo much air. Ben has a great, full sound here... major major respect. Great Job!
