I'm going back on the road after one week of strike. My load supposed to be delivered on Monday April 28 but will be delivered on May 5

I don't care if they are mad I want make them fill as angry as I am.

Same people say that it didn't worth it. . ....... At least I feel better. I'm trying to do something about.

I just book load for $5100 Dryload Seattle,WA to Boston,MA with CH ROBINSON 15 min past they called in saying that they found some one who can do it for $4700. If you guys getting free fuel please let me know where? couse I'm not.

I don't think we have any other way of asking for a rise. My salary just went DOWN about 10-15 %.( in 2 mo) Why should I suppose to take this money from my kids? When they only see me every other week for 2 days??? Now day's company drivers make more money with no risk or headache at all.

If I see any trucker moving freight i Will personally cut him off the road. Today was more like testing our grounds.(which was horrible) I have trucks all over US report that most of the truck still run. WE NEED COME TOGETHER on this issue to get results.

before striking, why not try growing home made veggies and natural born food and being self sufficient to feed others to make it for the 3 days. Exxon and other companies will be begging for people to buy fuel. the Speculators will feel the overages of the artificial price increase. Along with indictments plus imprisonment. Face it. I was an O/O up until 2002. Got out of it cause I was earning the same as a company driver. 9/11 did it man, from that point on. How the fuck have you guys made it through to 2008.

This is what we need in ENGLAND. we need every trucker off the road, from seven and a half tonne vehicles to artics, for one week.that would bring this country to its knees.The goverment would have to bring fuel down. that is THE ONLY WAY to sort out the fuel problem.

its not gone work i did the 1st strike guess I seen all the trucks on the road it was a few that stayed. Striking wont work on this hot topic. If it was union and you're being paid to strike that one thing, however not moving loads regardless of the cost means NO money. Most owner operators can't afford a strike. Unfortunately the top chief of our nation needs to apply pressure to reduce our fuel costs. Striking in this industry in these hard economic times won't change anything.
