this man was a true minstrel,a voice for people who had no voice,he was a major champion and activist of the right to roam movement e.g.the manchester rambler, brother did you weep is sung with his wife peggy seeger.ewan was a founder member of folk singers for vietnam.when you see pictures of such cruelty it should make you weep whether with anger, shame or sadness at mans inhumanity to man

  • remember, the vietnam war was fought over RUBBER. in the 1800s France invaded/colonized vietnam and by 1964 had VAST rubber tree plantations growing there. US gov. used scare tactics like "TH RED SCARE" and "domino theory" to get americans to fight. in 1964 vietnam was THE place for US tire makers to get rubber for car tires. if vietnam fell to the "commies" the entire US automobile industry would have been devastated

  • A very horrible and terrifying song.

Socialism is the only way for Humanity to evolve.

Marxist-Leninist singers/poets (Ewan, Aragon, Ferrat, a lot of others) are the best.

  • Please acknowledge Peggy Seeger as the other singer. Thanks for the powerful choice of images for a very powerful song.

  • Haunting song and images...

  • @MrHarry46 rubber ,thats a new one to me ,why sould americas car industry be devestated ,they could of always traded with malaya , and their vast rubber plantations

  • capitalism has caused so much pain over it's greed and paranoia

  • Thank you for making this video - it reminds me of a life changing experience after seeing these types of newsreels from Vietnam. The beginning of a spiritual transformation for me watching all this suffering. The naked little girl survived incidentally and has appeared worldwide on TV, an educated intelligent woman working for peace.
