do you know if there was a photographer on the day?

@petrishka yea, do a little ODE first but even local ODE's cost around the £30 mark :)

Haha that's his best test to date ;)
Solihull is about 2hrs from us, A43, onto the A14 briefly, M6. It's a dead straight run, and a lovely lovely venue.

I suggest going and doing some pony club events first. BE has a heck of an atmosphere, even for a more mature, older horse, plus you have no eventing experience. It's an expensive sport and it seems silly to pay in excess of a hundred pounds to enter an event when you don't know how you or your pony will react. By doing PC events you can enter them a lot cheaper, get experience, and gauge how your pony reacts to eventing. 3 disciplines in one day is a lot for a young pony / horse.

@petrishka you can do BE90 and BE100 on a day ticket tho for only £16

@EilidhLovesFoxyOx Yes but you have to have a horse day ticket and a rider ticket, which are £14 and £16, the the entry fee, then the start fee. Why pay all that money when you don't know how your horse will react to the ODE atmosphere?

Thank you! He's a bit of a machine jumping, that's how we got our 20 XC :( I trapped a nerve in my shoulder and couldn't hold him so we had a drive by - our first 20!!
Haha he's managed 55 at pre-novice! :O
