Windows 98 Second Edition

Windows 98 Second Edition with uncomplete yet XP-alike theme: boot, start menu, and shut down on an old computer. Video taken in 2001.
This is standard/normal Windows 98 SE. Only the startup (logo.sys) and shutdown (logos.sys, logow.sys) and the color theme and a wallpaper are not not the regular "win98" issue (icons are from Win ME). Final complete "XP-alike Theme" for Win 95/98/NT/2000 had much more changes, including majority of XP icons.

All made by Dai Wood in the summer 2001 based on WinXP Corporate Edition from August that year. Info and video itself is from him as well (are you happy now? I said it is YOURS, not mine :-)
Sounds you cannot hear by Microsoft (just standard XP sounds that come with XP).
Wait screen was made by someone else I don't know, but he/she match it perfectly.

Yes it says "1999" because Windows 98 SE came out in 1999 (so quit posting stupid questions why)

You can find it all everywhere in many versions on the web nowadays.

I don't know WTF(!!) is youtube's obsession with copyrights, but this video has been made by my friend Dai Wood. Since youtube hasn't replied to my questions regarding what freaking "copyright owner" claimed to own this video, below are excerpts from the Dai Wood's email:
