The first million dollar prize was awarded to Jessica Robinson during the episode airing September 1, 2008. She was playing during the Million Dollar Mission, with 5 million dollar cases. However, she eliminated the first 4 rather quickly, making most of the decisions just as difficult as they normally are. The final 3 amounts on the board were $100,000, $200,000, and $1,000,000. She turned down a final bank offer of $561,000 and decided to keep her case, number 4, to win the million. It was revealed after the show that there will be one more million dollar winner during the fourth season.

Banker is STUPID. In this scenario offering 560 k is a mistake. she's walking away with 200 k on the bad end of a 50/50 guess. a +/- of 800 k or walk with 560 k losing out on 460 k WHICH IS NEARLY HALF OF A MILLION! Any gambler will opt to flip at the chance. She would of walked with the money if banker offered 675 k
