I so relate to like playing live as apposed to the studio!
I never want to listen to myself, either, I would leave the room, [it's never good enough, damned it! lol!]
A few years ago, a band leader sent a dvd of some stuff we did in the mid-90's, I put it on and it surprised the hell out of me!
