Another reason we never sail Carnival Corporation ships, only Royal Caribbean. Given the cost of a cruise, to pay a few hundred US dollars more and not be let down, well it is a no-brainer. Yes, we ARE snobs when it comes to cruises but it is OUR vacation and money....8-)

I agree with you on choice of cruising. I have been on many ships and many cruise lines. We have become accustom to the Voyager Class ships or larger. (Fell in love with the Freedom of the seas!) Carnival was fun but too much of a booze cruise. I worked on Princess for 3 years and the food was AMAZING from 1990-1993, however to stay competitive, they have completely changed the quality of food. We have 11 cruises with Royal and loved every cruise!
