@estlib the classes were terrible. No Japanese, no contact, no gradings. Was a terrible class.
Also Shotokan isn't very good compared to Wado Ryu imo.

@soapyward I agree with you there, I do Wado-Ryu at a local club and my Sensei used to take me and my pair-work buddy to where Shihan Dave Honey's club is. He graded me twice and taught me some of the techniques of the Katas. I don't go to Dave Honey's club anymore as my Sensei had a few disagreements with him, but my sensei still needs to train and goes to see his first teach, Mr. Sakagami. Hopefull I will eventually go back to training with Mr. Sakagami, which is really great.

Does the Wado version of Seisan contain "Hangetsu" Dachi or Sanchin Dachi? Just trying to verify historical accounts and debates of Shotokan's Hangetsu...

i disagree - for instance phil martin, dave honey, all the british lads who went out and studied it under tatsuo now run their own clubs, on very traditional lines, and this is passed on to their associate clubs. So i dont think you have to learn under a japanese instructor at all.

@StaticID no, but your comment was insulting. it wouldve been acceptable if you were to name the things you did in the first comment. we dont have japanese in our class either (other than the names of katas and such) but im doing super. its not the styles fault, its the sensei of yours.
