  • @SleeCee nope, sorry no picture

  • @themaxster100 yea theres three surgeris, one is tying a sutre in the joint to brace the tendant so it can heal.

theres two where they cut part of the tibia off and re shape it. - for bigger dogs mostly and they are like 4500$ for the operation/

the bones rubbing means he has completly torn the ACL from bone. so surgery is a must.(i was hoping mine wasnt)

thank you! and the sooner the better for surgery. plus 2-6 months recovery with rehab.

    and good luck!

PS got a pic of youre pooch ?

  • @SleeCee he's still uncomfortable, hopefully soon he's going to be getting surgery-just have to meet up with his vet *cross fingers* the doctor thankfully gave us like three surgery options-i forget what they are though. Im guessing it's different for every dog but with my dog (a labradoodle) he's going to be getting surgery because his bones are now rubbing against each other *blech* thank you for the consideration and i hope your doodle gets better

  • @themaxster100 happened to my golden doodle yesterday.

How is your pup doing ?

did you go for surgery? if so which one?

ive been looking into non surgical treatment,cast/splint with limited activity(no running jumping) for 2 months with heat and ice compression

medications and slow and short walks till she can build up her strength to remove the cast/splint

I love my mutt :) i want the best for her, that means knowing that surgery could kill her or make it worse and she'd still be in pain

  • blech that happened to my labradoodle 6 weeks ago it really sucks for the dog

  • Did you go with a surgical repair? Our Saint has been through the same thing.

  • poor baby!

  • Aww, she's beautiful! The poor girl, good luck with the recovery.
