@Fanatic2020 Remember that this is a very short clip which will never have the same impact as seeing something in context.

Also that this is from the early '70s. I'm assuming you're from the United States? So at the same time at these were on, the USA were airing shows like The Odd Couple. It's not fair to compare this show with tv of today, although I think most of Python does still hold up very well.

It goes both ways, I don't find Big Bang Theory funny. Just a difference in culture.

I don't think the big bang theroy is suposed to be funny...because it's like watching a dying cat.

Just because something is old doesn't mean it can't be funny, I love lucy was in the 50's and it's still hilarious by today's standard.

Monty Python just isn't funny, expect for the black knight scene in the holy grail, even then it was only worth a few chuckles.
