This video shows some of the new and improved features of Chrome,
as well as demonstrating the performance on the ACID3 test and canvas/webgl pages.
Some of the new and improved features are:
A Unified menu
Better Vertical tabs
Synchronisation of Extensions
The Chromium demonstrated is taken from the hourly trunk builds available from
http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapshots/chromium-rel-xp (For Windows),
http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapshots/chromium-rel-mac (For Mac) and
http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapshots/chromium-rel-linux (for Linux)
The build used was: 6.0.486.0 (54896)

@jamie1051 You might have downloaded a bad build, follow the link in the description for which OS you're using and download the latest build, I am successfully using build 56447 on Windows 7 64-bit with no problems.
If you keep getting this problem, you might want to consider going to Google Chrome, which is tested for stability. Also, you might want to report it on Chromium bugs (just google it, first result) and you might be able to help the devs fix it (if they've not fixed it already)
