The film is available in most stores (indie and major/on-line and otherwise) on DVD from Palm Pictures in the U.S., from RARO Video in Europe, and from Uplink in Asia.
The film is also showing occasionally on television (Sundance Channel, Showtime, etc.).

what is perceived as "good music" varies from person to person.
everyone should stop pretending like their opinion on a band is the one that stands.

Just goes to show that a college education can't help EVERYONE refrain from saying "like" "um" "yknow" "cocaine" every third word.
I love a documentary that's not afraid to make its subjects look like a bunch of assholes.
Only Glenn Branca escapes with his credibility intact.

Cool documentary. One of the only 2000's bands that come out looking good is Gogol Bordello. Those guys are fucking awesome. Sad they're not bigger

Ok so if anybody is still having trouble figuring out what a hipster is, look no further than the trendy Brooklynites interviewed in this film.

of course that's not true, but ny does have a special energy, and is the center of the cultural universe.

i don't think so. You can't say that good music is .. Hannah Montana or Demi Lovato, I mean, this "hollywood projects commercial music to SELL ww isn't good music". But u can say that doors, eric clapton, deep purple, beatles or jimmy hendrix are good music.
