I don't think you know what Imperialism is. Imperialism started with Theodore Roosevelt, who was president before Wilson....

Also, America's success isn't an attribute of Isolationism. Global diplomacy, trade, and science are typically a great thing, asswipe.

This is one of the major problems with Republicans. They are willing to lie for the 'greater good'. They now have a mouthpiece with Fox News which uses the same tactics. So whenever you hear a Republican use data, ALWAYS check it out for yourself. 9 times out of 10 it'll be a total lie and 1 out of 10 it will be an accurate figure but out of context.

For what its worth, Sirota does a very good job of exposing what is just another excuse by those looking for any possible way to obstruct forward movement on healthcare legislation. But in focusing on the deficit reduction aspect, Sirota falls into a trap of his own making by ignoring the actual content of what is in reality a proposal that started out weak and was watered down to the point where it became a complete sellout to business.

Well, that's true. Back then it was called Manifest Destiny, and was justified with the Bible. During Teddy's era, it was justified with a race against communism in gathering all these little island countries up, under our control.

i don't see how the first amendment applies here i'm not the government and i'm not trying to say he can't say what he's saying and if the government tried to say he can't i'd back him even if i don't agree with him but that's not the case here, unless you count europe as the american government. i believe in the constitution. but, yea they do need to come home and get the care they need. medical, psychological, etc., they've been through enough

It it though illegal when infringe on somebody's else right to Free Speech. As for the middle eastern wars, we have to end it, and end it now.
