Chris Henry, Red Henry, and Brian Frazier do a triple-mandolin version of Bill Monroe's "Farewell to Long Hollow" at the Station Inn. January 16th, 2008. The tune appears on Chris's CD "Monroe Approved" available at www.murphymethod.com
Billy, Thanks for asking. It sure does have a maple bridge on it. That's Randy Wood #1 that I was playing, and it has a one-piece, hard American maple bridge.
"Farewell to Long Hollow" is a lot of fun to play. We recorded it on Chris's CD, also as a trio with Chris and Butch Baldossari on mandolins, and me on mandola.
That's John Frazier on mandolin, not Brian.
