  • @crothersdaniel Enjoy your repeatedly failed policies you blind dingbat

  • what the question is is maturity! you can say that the movement away from dictatorship was giving more responsibility to people and these ideals will give even more responsibility to the individual. This will have to be transitioned well because unfortunately this psuedo democracy is probably the center of gravity of the population and demanding more maturity could be choas if not handled well at first.

  • @ironmantis24 Thats why he wanted to remove inflation and the Fed. Remember, he grows in a different timeline from our current timeline.

  • @ironmantis24 I don't understand what you are saying. Are you saying that if your parents can't pay for your college, then you can't go to college? I may be wrong, but it seems your parents are able to pay for your college education. The reason I say that is because if they didn't, then you would know about student loans that people take to pay for college. People who's parents can't afford to pay for their college still attend college. So if I understand what you are saying, you are incorrect.

  • so hes saying that we should eliminate public education. Well not everyone can pay for education for their kids. What about the large percentage of working class poor who earns minimum wage with kids? How can they afford to pay for their kids education along with other expenses like rent, food, and healthcare(since this guy wants to eliminate medicare also). Is he saying that the kids of poorer parents do not deserve education(the chance of social mobility) because their parents cannot afford it?

  • @RocknCorruptrepublic yeah and the whole goal of college vs high schools are different. in high school the fed is making sure that students "succeed" and pass even when they put virtually no effort into it. in college, if you don't do the work then no one is going to care. there is a much greater level of responsibility.

  • @biglu30 yeah we should see more charter options. Yeah, true about universities. Well, they have more freedom b/c the federal govt. is less involved :P

  • @RocknCorruptrepublic well for one universities have a greater degree of freedom in choices and curriculum than high schools.

i would say that i agree with you on the public schools though. i have no problem with government, its just when it gets as huge and as powerful as our federal government is. i really think we should see more charter options though.

  • @biglu30 what do you think about public higher education? Ron Paul mentions that he thinks the federal government should stay out of education. I personally think our higher education system fairs pretty well; we have state and local institutions competing with private ones. There are some pretty reputable state and local public universities. I also believe that public schools are ok, but should be decentralized and like Paul says the federal govt. should stay out.

  • @biglu30 correction: funding cut*
