Thank you so much for sharing this - I love Larry and his tenure on the Generation Game was must-see televsion. A sweet, gentle and kind soul with so much warmth and mischief and fun. Thank you :)

Echoing other comments....remember Brucie as being brilliant but Larry was a very clever entertainer, a gentle soul who made a lot of people laugh, to such effect we still recognise and praise his talents now.....much missed!

Larry always took part in the games most of which he wasn't all that good at. More to just encourage the contestants to have a go.

I adored Larry as a kid. I grew up on The Generation Game - he was the best presenter (much as I loved Brucie too).

I watch this every day. Fantastic!!! There's so much Hancock, Kenneth Williams, Frankie Howerd etc .... Why so little of Larry, Slack, Everard etc
