During my short-lived trip to Jamaica I was lucky enough to observe and teach in several schools. The learning environment there was so starkly different from what we normally have here in the States.
After a series of interviews and careful observartion, however, I came to the conclusion that these differences really weren't that important.
Kids are smart; they adapt, adjust, and flourish.
